In a truly working people’s gathering on October 15, the desire of the victims of globalization in Britain for immediate exit from the EU was vividly expressed. Takis Fotopoulos took the chance to present the analysis of FNSL (Fronts for National and Social Liberation) / Inclusive Democracy about the stake that Brexit presents within the framework of the New World Order of neoliberal globalization. Together with the legendary leader of the coal miners and historical leader of the Socialist Labour Party (SLP), Arthur Scargill, they made clear that the only way for the working class and the lower income strata is the way of the “Hard” Brexit and no contract with the EU. While the elites of Britain are unable to administer the thunderous “NO” to the EU that the people voted for, and while “Brexit” had been repeatedly postponed until Boris Johnson agreed with the EU elites a watered down version of it, the SLP public gathering offered an illuminating as well as militant view of reality.
